What we collect

When you create or use a SharedReel album, we collect:

Your IP address, stored as a one-way cryptographic hash. We cannot reverse it to your original address.
The files you upload (photos and videos), stored privately in Backblaze B2 cloud storage.
An optional uploader name if you choose to enter one. This is stored with your uploaded file.

What we do not collect

No email address, no name, no account information.
No cookies beyond what is technically required for the site to function.
No tracking pixels, no analytics scripts, no ad networks.
No facial recognition or AI analysis of your photos.

How long we keep your files

All files are automatically and permanently deleted after your album expires. Albums expire 30 days after the upload window closes. If a host deletes an album early, files are deleted immediately. We do not keep backups or archives of user-uploaded content.

Third-party services

Your files are stored on Backblaze B2. Cloudflare sits in front of our servers and file delivery as a CDN and DDoS protection service. Neither service is given access to your personal information beyond what is technically required for file storage and delivery.

Your rights

If you are the album host, you can delete your album and all associated files at any time using your host link. Since we do not collect identifying information, we cannot look up records by your name or email.
